Driven by the need for excess, my work explores multiple components and extreme ‘dressing’ of the female form. Inspired by historical costume and Haute Couture, I create body props that interact with the wearer and the viewer.

My work is intended for a performative or editorial context, in which people’s perceptions of beauty and body adornment are held up to scrutiny and challenged.

My work questions the boundaries between dream and reality and employs an aesthetic that points to the fine line between the sublime and the grotesque.
